Milk is Now Racist! Didn't You Know?!

You know the old saying, “Milk does a body good?” Well, it does, and you’re a racist.

Samantha Diaz, a writer for California State University-Long Beach’s (CSULB) newspaper “D49er,” wrote an article this past Monday asking the question, “Milk, new symbol of hate?”

In case you're not familiar with Diaz's article/argument, here you go:

The federal endorsement of milk in American diets contributes to the problem by uncritically pushing people to drink milk, despite the potential detriment it has on non-white people’s health.
Diaz references a study that states that 75 percent of African-Americans are lactose intolerant. Therefore, touting the health benefits of milk ignores non-white people, and is intrinsically racist.

“It may not surprise you that the United States was founded on racism,” Diaz added, by way of explanation. “That every institution we uphold has racist roots that are sometimes difficult to catch and even harder to fight against.”

Diaz goes on to argue that white nationalists and neo-nazis are using milk as a form of white supremacy.

since the definition of racism keeps broadening soon everything everywhere will be considered racist by some one. maybe we should just get it over with and kill ourselves, though some one somewhere will consider suicide racist or a cultural appropriation. or maybe stop playing the racist, homophobic, liberal, feminist etc card and accept there will never be a time when everybody loves everybody and get on with life.

The progressive states that 75% of blacks are lactose intolerant as if they cannot drink milk or it is harmful to them. Actually it means that they do not produce enough of the enzyme lactase needed to beak down the sugar lactose in milk. In reality 65% of the adult population of the world are lactose intolerant so her claim that black being 10% over the general population is pure hype and that it is racist to promote milk is ludicrous. Most of those who are lactose intolerant can drink a glass of milk with no issues and drink more than that if taken with food or lactase supplements. Milk and cheese are a good source of calcium for women particularly older women who need more calcium and an easy cheap way to get it so the government promotes it. Sensationalized statistics are a staple of the progressives even though they mean little statistically.

Some people just look for the attention of the news media reptiles looking for a soap box to stand upon and flap their big fat pieholes all day long with no one listening

Well... if milk really isn't good for non-whites... Perhaps Ms. Diaz would be happy if the milk industry changed their slogan:

"Milk. It does a body good. If you're white. If you're not white, please go drink something that's good for you. We don't mind. Because we don't hate you. We just want to sell milk."

What? Not catchy enough? :)
